Internal Conflict of Morality

"A Wild Sheep Chase" is in fact a wild goose chase. In this detective mystery the main protagonist is an advertisement executive publishes a photo of a pastor that was sent to him along with a confessional letter by his friend known as "The Rat". The story is hard to comment on due to the twist and turns of this detective like novel. So who was the Sheep? The Rat? The book starts off with the main protagonist talking about his previous relationship. During that time one can infer that the protagonist is selfish and cares little about the person he is with. He was distant and hardly listened to what his partner had to say. Even after her death he cared little to what happened to her. The story itself is quite confusing with the plot twist and turns.
